I bought a gadget for my nightstand on a whim and it's the one thing I'd never give up

I don't spend a lot of time away from home, but I recently went on a two-week vacation. Homesickness wasn't really an issue, and if anything, I was dreading coming back to my usual routine.

Weirdly enough, though, there was one thing from home I kept missing: a random gadget I had bought for my nightstand on a whim.

Before I go any further, this isn't a product Baseus sent me for review, and it's one I bought entirely with my own money.

Baseus somehow did it again

A few months ago, I wrote an article about the Baseus Nomos II NH21, which is a 6-in-1 charging station that lives on my desk. As someone who reviews a bunch of tech and always has charging cables scattered everywhere, the charging station is genuinely one of my favorite desk accessories.

Apparently, Baseus has a bit of a habit of doing this to me, because the gadget on my nightstand that I missed so much while I was away is another one of its chargers. This time, it's the Baseus EnerFill FS41 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand.

Baseus launched this charging stand in March 2025, and it currently retails for $89.99 (though it's discounted to $69.99 at the time of writing). The charging stand supports Qi2 and can charge up to three devices simultaneously. Unlike the desktop charging station I mentioned above, though, the EnerFill doesn't give you a bunch of ports or retractable cables to work with. Instead, the entire point is to make charging as hands-off as possible.

There's a 15W magnetic Qi2 charging pad for your iPhone, a 5W wireless charging pad on the base for AirPods, and a fold-out 2.5W charger for an Apple Watch.

The wireless charger can charge more than you'd expect

It charges more than just the obvious stuff

Given that the wireless charger houses a Qi2 magnetic charging pad, you can use it to charge both Apple and Android devices, as long as they support Qi2 or have a compatible magnetic case.

The 5W pad on the base isn't strictly limited to AirPods either. I've seen fellow YouTubers use it to wirelessly charge other small accessories, including a wireless tracker, so anything that supports standard Qi charging should theoretically work. That said, I've tried it with some accessories I have and haven't had much luck, so I wouldn't buy the stand specifically for that flexibility! I do have AirPods Pro, though, and the base charger has effectively remained an AirPods charger for me.

The same goes for the Apple Watch section of the stand. I have a Redmi Watch that I've tried placing on the puck, but it doesn't charge, so that part is effectively Apple-only in my setup. That's not really a knock against the EnerFill so much as a reminder that, while the main Qi2 pad is fairly universal, the other two charging spots are much more dependent on the accessories you already own.

The stand is half the reason I love it

I'm a very forgetful person, and before I got this charger, I'd wake up to a phone with barely any battery every other day. There were countless times where I'd reach my morning bus to get to college, put in my AirPods, and be greeted with a low-battery warning because I'd forgotten to charge them the night before.

This simple wireless charger on my nightstand has completely solved that. I instinctively place my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch on it before going to bed now, so charging them has basically become part of my nightly routine.

Beyond just convenience, charging my iPhone wirelessly also means I’m not constantly plugging and unplugging a cable every night. That puts less wear on the charging port itself, and I don’t have to worry about a frayed cable, a loose connection, or accidentally yanking my phone off the nightstand while half asleep.

The wireless charger also doubles as an incredible stand. Not only does it have 16 powerful magnets to ensure a strong magnetic grip, but the magnetic pad can also be adjusted vertically by up to 70 degrees, so you can tilt your phone to a much more comfortable viewing angle.

Given that the charging station is meant to charge 3 devices simultaneously, you can imagine that heat can build up pretty quickly. That's where Baseus's CyroCore cooling system comes in.

The EnerFill FS41 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand features a thermoelectric cooling system powered by semiconductor precision, which essentially ensures the stand can actively draw heat away from your phone while it charges instead of simply relying on passive heat dissipation.

The stand also has Baseus's CryoCore temperature-control tech built in, which works alongside the cooling plate and fan to help keep temperatures in check while your phone is charging. You'll find a dedicated CryoCore button on the stand as well, which lets you turn the temperature-control function off whenever you don't need it.

Baseus also claims the stand has a total heat-dissipation area of 16,863.4 mm², alongside a high-speed active fan to help move that heat away. Finally, the stand is able to do all of this cooling magic because it houses an AI-powered smart chip that monitors temperature in real-time and adjusts power output to help prevent overheating.

Ultimately, if you're in the market for a wireless charger specifically for your nightstand, the EnerFill FS41 is one I'd happily recommend. It keeps all three of my everyday devices charged, cuts down on the cable mess beside my bed, doubles as a genuinely useful phone stand, and even has active cooling built in.

More importantly, it's one of those rare gadgets that became part of my routine without me realizing just how much I relied on it until I had to go without it.
